In July 2015, Central Asia International Train “Lanzhou”(Lanzhou-Almaty) departed from Zhongchuan North Railway Station in Lanzhou New Area, which has since opened the prelude to the operation of international freight trains of Lanzhou New Area railway port. The number of international trains has also achieved a rapid increase from 2 trains in 2015 to 117 trains in 2019. As of the end of July 2020, a total of 273 trains have been dispatched from Zhongchuan North Railway Station, which has achieved two-way normal operation.
